Still in the development stage, I am authoring and illustrating an early reader picture book for children. This picture book will be accessible to early readers. I utilize common early sight words and repetition to help our youngest readers to grow in their confidence and literacy.

Many early reader books focus on repetition so much that character and plot development are limited. My book, however, includes these needed literary conventions to go beyond simply teaching by parroting memorized words–instead, this book offers inspiring characters with an engaging plot.
